401(k) Administrator
The 401(k) Administrator is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Retirement Plan Benefits Division. This role is crucial in managing internal processes, maintaining organized systems, and assisting in client and individual-level servicing tasks. The Administrator ensures operational efficiency and high-quality service delivery to clients and internal stakeholders.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and distribute a weekly newsletter using approved sources, ensuring timely delivery to clients and partners, including providing finalized materials to Ameritas.
- Manage and maintain accurate asset tracking by organization, including monthly asset totals, point-of-contact records, relationship history, and broker involvement.
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of SharePoint files, ensuring that platform information, prospect details, quoting materials, onboarding documentation, client files, and archived client data are up-to-date and digitized as needed.
- Manage key tracking systems to support prospecting, onboarding, and agency-wide management efforts, including plan review schedules, compliance tracking, fiduciary training, and financial education initiatives.
- Coordinate employee-related activities such as scheduling meetings, processing financial education requests, facilitating financial needs analyses, handling rollover requests, and addressing account service inquiries.
- Support individual client relationships by organizing meetings, conducting financial needs assessments, and tracking client-specific services such as retirement and investment accounts, college savings plans, and insurance needs.
- Assist the Retirement Plan Benefits team with comparative fund lineup spreadsheets, virtual meetings, and the research, assembly, and analysis of data to support decision-making and client recommendations.
- Draft and edit a variety of client communications, including emails, presentations, spreadsheets, and other documents, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and alignment with client and agency expectations.
- Perform additional administrative and client service duties as assigned, contributing to the operational efficiency and success of the Retirement Plan Benefits Division.
