Finance Associate

Location

Responsibilities

• Supports service and advisory teams with reconciliations, general ledger entries, and financial documentation
• Assists in preparing and analyzing financial reports, forecasts, and client deliverables
• Contributes to financial planning tasks—budgeting, investment assessments, and scenario modeling
• Participates in client meetings, aiding data collection and delivering presentation support
• Engages in auditing, tax prep, financial operations, and system usability testing as applicable
• Applies financial analysis tools, assisting in valuations, trend assessment, and data visualizations
• Learns and utilizes internal platforms such as Excel, reporting systems, emoney and proprietary finance tools
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams across operations, marketing, HR, business consulting, and IT 
• Upholds compliance and confidentiality standards in all tasks and client interactions
• Embraces mentorship and professional development opportunities provided by seasoned staff
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
• Demonstrates strong analytical ability, precise attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn
• Exhibits effective communication skills in both written and verbal forms
• Shows competency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn finance/accounting software
• Works well both independently and within a team, balancing academic demands with internship commitments
• Displays integrity, professionalism, and a passion for financial services and client success
• Must pass prescreening and background check
