Corporate Finance Intern
The Corporate Finance Intern provides support for the Corporate Finance & Analytics Department. The intern will be an undergraduate or graduate student and will work on current projects to gain real world experience at the Park Headquarters in Tysons, VA. Students will work full-time during the 10-12 week program.
Under the general supervision of the Sr. Director, Corporate Finance & Analytics, the Intern will support the team in creating a variety of financial analyses relating to Park’s portfolio operations, corporate financial activity, and overall industry and market performance. The Intern will be exposed to the various departments within the company to gain full understanding of the REIT by the end of the internship.
- Support the Corporate Finance & Analytics team with monthly and ad hoc analysis of hotel portfolio operations and corporate financial activity to be distributed company-wide
- Support the creation of performance reports, including business insights and ad-hoc analysis
- Assist with preparation of quarterly earnings calls support
- Provide data and assistance with presentations for investors, lenders, Board of Directors, etc.
- Assemble and evaluate economic, demographic, and market information across all invested markets, US hotel industry, and US economy
- Support and assist with ad hoc projects
- Complete industry and market research
- Must be currently enrolled in a four-year college degree program studying Hospitality Business, Hotel Finance, Real Estate, Finance, or a relevant full-time MBA program
- Strong written and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be well organized, can prioritize and multitask several projects
