What You’ll Do

As a member of our team, you’ll work alongside smart congenial colleagues on projects that transform organizations, governments, and societies. You’ll collaborate on difficult but thought-provoking projects with team members from various backgrounds who have experience in a wide array of disciplines. You’ll learn to tackle complex organizational problems from diverse perspectives and, along the way, develop new skills and experiences to help advance your career. 

Working in consulting can be demanding and unpredictable. Projects vary in length, size, and scope, depending on our clients’ needs. Though most of our work is performed at our offices in Alexandria, Virginia, because our clients conduct business all over the world, there may be opportunities to travel, both domestically and internationally. 

Initially, you’ll spend time working across a wide range of clients and projects from helping to devise the strategic plan for an agricultural industry association to developing a crop insurance program for U.S. farmers and ranchers. As your career progresses, you’ll begin to specialize in one or more areas. At each step, you’ll be guided by Agralytica senior staff who will tailor the learning experience to your individual needs—unlike other consulting firms, you’ll interact with Agralytica partners, who have decades of combined experience in strategic and management consulting, on a near-daily basis.

What You’ll Bring

This job listing is for those who fall into one of the below advanced degree programs or pathways and are looking to start full-time with Agralytica. Non-business masters students with less than four years of work experience should apply for our Analyst role.

• MBA
• PhD (or equivalent)
• JD (or equivalent)
• Postdoctoral researcher
• Current non-MBA masters with at least four years of full-time work experience after completing their bachelors and/or who’ve already obtained an MBA, PhD, or JD.

You must live within a reasonable commuting distance of our office in Alexandria, Virginia. As a member of our office, it is expected you will be in the office as directed. This role puts you on an accelerated path of personal and professional growth and development and so, at times, requires extended working hours. Our work sometimes requires travel to client sites.
