Retirement Research Intern
Provides research support to the Senior Director, Retirement and Investor Research and other senior staff in the Research department. This internship will take place over a two-month period from June-July.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to retirement planning, investor behavior, and financial literacy.
- Support the development of research reports, white papers, and presentations.
- Monitor trends in retirement policy, investment products, and market sentiment.
- Collaborate with economists and policy analysts on cross-functional projects.
- Contribute to literature reviews and competitive benchmarking.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and research skills, including experience with data analysis tools (Excel, R, Python, Stata, and/or SPSS).
- Familiarity with survey design and behavioral research methods is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in retirement systems, investor psychology, and financial well-being.
Education & Experience
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, or related field.
