Data Engineer
As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, supporting risk assessment, claims processing, and customer analytics. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and driving innovation in our insurance solutions and develop optimize data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
Ensure data quality, reliability, and security across multiple sources.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Implement best practices for data storage, integration, and retrieval within a complex insurance environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
Manage and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud-based storage solutions.
Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted data flow.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new data sources and support evolving business needs.
Implement data governance policies to maintain compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Document data architecture, workflows, and technical specifications clearly and thoroughly.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
