Submit your resume to the Maryland Metropolitan Education Expo (MMEE) Resume Book by Sunday, February 8, to be considered for pre-scheduled interview slots during the Expo on February 18th between 1 and 5 pm. 

The MMEE Resume Book will be shared with ALL employers registered for the Expo. on Monday, February 9.  Employers participating in the optional on-site interview portion of the afternoon may decide to reach out to candidates ahead of February 18th to schedule an afternoon interview. with their organization for the afternoon session.

Other employers may choose to wait and sign up candidates on the day of the event, during the morning Career Fair, in preparation for the afternoon on-site interviews. We encourage students and alumni to visit all booths of interest and sign up for interviews with employers who offer them. afternoon interviews, as offered by the employers.


MMEE Schedule:

The Maryland Metropolitan Education Expo (MMEE) on Wed, Feb 18, from 9:30-5:00 pm, connects students with school districts and education-related employers hiring for full-time and part-time jobs and internships. More than 50 school systems and organizations from DC, Maryland, and Virginia, PLUS North and South Carolina, Pennsylvania, New York, and beyond typically attend.

MMEE is comprised of two parts:
Career Fair (9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.): An opportunity for students to meet and network with recruiters to learn more about school systems and related organizations. Students can sign up to participate in the afternoon interview portion of the event.

On-Site Interviews (Optional) (1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.): The Expo allows UMD, College Park students & alumni to interview with school systems and organizations on-site for anticipated teacher and education-related vacancies.
