Government Affairs Intern
Ridgeline Advocacy Group is seeking a member of the 2026 or 2027 graduating class to join our growing bipartisan advocacy team as an intern. This role is ideal for someone excited by the fast pace of Washington, eager to sharpen their policy expertise, and ready to play a key role in advancing strategic outcomes for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to innovative startups. Our culture values high performance and high energy, pairing serious policy impact with a team that genuinely enjoys the work and the people doing it.
Interns will collaborate closely with the associate team to track legislative and regulatory developments, support client service priorities, and contribute to high-impact advocacy and business development initiatives. Interns will learn the intricacies of the federal government, develop research, writing, and presentation skills, and gain hands-on experience in government affairs, advocacy, corporate campaigns, association work, and issue management across a wide range of business sectors. This is a paid, in-person summer internship lasting 10 weeks. This position is based full-time in our office, conveniently located near the Metro Center and McPherson Square Metro stations.
