Investment Banking Analyst 2026

The Firm

England & Company is an independent investment bank dedicated to the middle market, with offices in Houston, New York, Washington, D.C., and Singapore. Since 2003, we have advised growth companies across Energy & Sustainability, Healthcare, Industrial & Infrastructure, and Technology on M&A, financial restructuring, and capital raising. Through England Capital Partners, we also selectively invest as principals in LBOs and venture capital transactions. Our senior professionals bring deep experience across investment banking and private equity.

The Opportunity

This isn't a large-bank experience where you're one of dozens running comps in a bullpen. At England & Company, first-year analysts join small deal teams working directly alongside managing directors, entrepreneurs, private equity investors, and corporate development leaders at public companies. You'll contribute to every phase of a transaction—from initial marketing through closing—gaining the kind of responsibility and client exposure that typically takes years to earn elsewhere.

What You'll Do

  • Build and refine financial models, valuations, and analyses of strategic alternatives
  • Prepare client and prospective client presentations
  • Conduct industry, capital markets, and target company research
  • Participate in due diligence across live transactions
  • Support deal execution on M&A, restructuring, and financing engagements

What We're Looking For

  • Graduating senior (by June 2025) pursuing a four-year undergraduate degree, preferably with coursework in finance, economics, or accounting
  • Minimum 3.4 GPA
  • Strong foundation in accounting and financial analysis
  • Sharp written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
  • Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and team-oriented
  • Uncompromising integrity

The Commitment

We ask analysts to commit to a two-year program. High performers are regularly invited to continue into a third year or beyond—and many do.
