Ellucian | AI Platform Engineering Intern

This position at Ellucian is a full-time, paid AI Platform Engineering Intern role within the AI Platform team, based in Reston, VA (on-site). The internship runs May 18–August 7, 2026. Interns will build and ship production features in a Node.js serverless application on AWS, develop LLM infrastructure layers, create observability and cost-tracking tools, and contribute to enterprise AI integrations and knowledge systems. This role provides hands-on experience in AI infrastructure, cloud-native engineering, and platform development within an EdTech organization and is ideal for students interested in AI platform engineering, cloud architecture, and enterprise AI systems.
