Financial Planning Intern
What You’ll Do
As a Financial Planning Intern, you will work closely with one of our lead advisors and our client‑service team to support high‑quality planning and client experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
Financial Planning Support
- Gather, organize, and input client financial data into our planning software and CRM systems
- Perform initial data analysis—cash flow summaries, net worth updates, planning inputs, and scenario preparation
- Assist with drafting planning recommendations and identifying key issues for advisor review
- Prepare projections, charts, and planning deliverables under advisor guidance
Client Service & Administrative Support
- Assist with preparing client meeting materials, including agendas, reports, and financial summaries
- Help ensure timely, accurate follow‑up and documentation after client interactions
Operational & Compliance Support
- Support workflows that ensure everything gets completed on time and documented properly
Internal Projects & Learning
- Participate in team meetings and planning discussions to understand advisor thinking and client strategy
- Contribute ideas that improve client experience, internal processes, or planning quality
- Work on special projects related to planning, investments, or operations as your skillset grows

What You Bring
We’re flexible for the right candidate, but you should have:
- Enrollment in (or recent completion of) a finance, financial planning, accounting, economics, or related program
- Strong interest in pursuing a financial planning or advisory career path
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365
- Comfort working with numbers, spreadsheets, and financial data
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
