Our program matches accepted interns with Elected Official offices in our region, providing hands-on experience in civic engagement, public policy, leadership development, and community service. 

  

PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS 

Interns will be expected to:

Work 8-20 hours per week with Host Elected Official Office

Participate in professional development workshops & training seminars

PROGRAM TIMELINE:

Application Deadline: Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11:59 PM

Interviews Conducted: May to June

Final Decisions Released: June

Internship Orientation: July

Weekly Internship Trainings and Placement Interviews: July to September

Internship Term: September 21 to December 4, 2026
