Georgetown University’s cancer center is seeking a full-time or part-time Research Assistant for federally-sponsored research studies on White and Chinese American breast cancer patients’ bio-behavioral pathways to quality of life. Well-prepared bachelor’s or graduate degree recipients with a background in psychology, sociology, public health, nutrition, nursing, health studies, or a related field are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have familiarity/experience and strong interests in cancer survivorship care, symptom management, nutrition and health, health disparities, patient-provider communication, sociocultural determinants of health, health psychology, and behavioral medicine. Candidates desiring hands-on experience in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method data collection and analysis, behavioral intervention trials, evidence reviews and clinical research protocol management are strongly encouraged to apply. The full-time position will be based on Washington DC. The position will enrich the successful candidate’s clinical research career portfolio, career advancement, and related job opportunities. Do to the nature of this projects, candidate who are dual English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) language fluency are preferred (speak/read/write).
