Position Title: AI & Data Analyst Summer Intern (Commercial Real Estate)

Location: In-person, Washington, DC (Georgetown) 

Duration: Summer 2026 

Start date: June 1st 

Hours per week: 30-40 hours per week

Compensation: $25 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our investment team and apply AI tools to real-world commercial real estate decisions. In this hands-on role, you’ll identify, test, and implement AI-driven solutions to improve how we evaluate deals, model investments, and streamline internal workflows. This is a hands-on role with real ownership—ideal for someone interested in the intersection of AI, data analysis, and finance/real estate. 

This role is well-suited for someone who is analytically minded, preferably pursuing a degree in finance or related business major and aiming for a post-graduation career in finance, real estate, or consulting, with strong technical skills and the ability to translate complex information into practical insights that could help us support our investment strategy. Unlike many internships, you won’t just support existing processes—you’ll help build and improve them. Your work will directly impact how we evaluate investments and operate as a business.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will help leverage and optimize AI tools to improve our internal work flows, including processes for identifying and evaluating potential acquisition opportunities, preparing cash flow projections for existing assets and portfolios, compiling information for and assembling investor presentations, and general business processes such as reviewing & responding to emails. Responsibilities will focus on learning about our work flow processes, assessing whether AI tools could be utilized to carry out those processes more efficiently, choosing and applying the relevant AI tools, and documenting your findings. 

• Analyze current workflows related to deal sourcing, underwriting, and investor reporting 
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency using AI and automation tools 
• Build and test AI-assisted processes (e.g., deal screening, financial analysis support, document generation) 
• Assist with cash flow projections and investment analysis for active opportunities
• Support preparation of investor presentations and internal reports 
• Document tools, workflows, and recommendations for long-term implementation
• Present your findings and projects to the team at the end of the internship
