UNPAID - Communications Media Intern

Baltimore Green Justice Workers Cooperative (BGJWC) is seeking two undergrad or grad students for an unpaid, part-time Communications & Media Internship with Baltimore Green Justice Workers Cooperative (BGJWC).  

Interns will assist BGJWC's staff with researching newspaper and Internet articles about green careers, climate change and other relevant topics at discretion of BGJWC staff. Other duties include:  

(1) producing and sometimes co-hosting BGJWC's blog talk radio show spotlighting different types of green careers and the people who work them; 

(2) managing BGJWC's social media presence;

(3) assisting in the editing of BGJWC video sessions;  

(4) assisting in the editing and distribution of BGJWC's monthly e-blast;

(5) creating short informational audios and/or videos;

(6) creating short promotional videos; 

(7)  other duties as assigned.

This internship is hybrid with some hours in-person at BGJWC's satellite office at The Business Center @ Park Circle and some work from home hours too.  

NOTE: If approved by their educational institutions, college students selected for this internship may receive program or course credit.  BGJWC encourages eligible applicants to speak with their college advisor and/or the career development office at their college to inquire about the opportunity to receive program or course credit.
