Operations Research Analyst
NSMA is hiring for multiple Operations Research Analysts / Industrial Engineers. These roles would support NSMAs Cost, Data, & Schedule Analysis (Cost) Directorate.
Duties may include:
- Performing systematic examinations of a wide variety of weapon system programs at various stages in the acquisition life cycle process
- Developing cost methodologies, analyzing risks, resolving conflicts, and developing estimates to form the basis for the Department of Navy's programming and budgeting decisions
- Investigating new cost methods using a wide range of analytical and statistical techniques such as linear programming, multiple regression, probability, sensitivity analysis, and learning curves
- Preparing detailed technical reports of completed estimates, assuring adequate correlation of data and substantiation of conclusions
- Tailoring Integrated Program Management (IPM) and Cost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR) requirements into Statements of Work

- U.S. Citizenship
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university prior to onboarding (degree not required at the time of application)
- A cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Passing a pre-employment drug test prior to onboarding
- Ability to achieve and maintain DAWIA certification within the allotted timeframe after hire
