Campaign Intern
Campaign Interns will have the opportunity to participate in virtual and in-person campaign activities that make up the day-to-day of a local race, including door knocking, research, and supporting the candidate at community events. In coordination with your professor, the campaign will do its part to make sure you get academic credit in lieu of a stipend for your internship. This is an unpaid internship.
The ideal applicant for this role will have an interest in learning more about campaigns and local and state politics, with a flexible schedule on weeknights and weekends to make the most of the experience. Preference may be given to applicants with prior campaign experience. A successful applicant must have reliable transportation, with the ability to travel to and from Harford County as needed.
Much planning goes into campaigns behind-the-scenes, and this information must be kept confidential for the competitive advantage of the campaign. Campaign Interns will be expected to use discretion when discussing their work outside of the campaign.
These internships are to start no earlier than June 6, 2026 and are expected to continue through the duration of the campaign in November or until such a time as the internship interferes with coursework, whichever comes sooner.
