Role Description

Knollwood is seeking a self-directed AI & Automation Intern to join the investment team and lead hands-on projects that apply AI across our sourcing, research, coverage, and due diligence workflows.​ This is a highly autonomous role: the intern will serve as the primary technical owner for AI and automation initiatives, partnering closely with investment team members who will help define priorities, provide domain context, and guide project objectives (including success criteria), while the intern drives technical design and execution.​ Working from real workflow pain points, the intern will independently scope, build, test, and iterate on AI-powered solutions that improve the speed, quality, and scalability of our investment processes.​ The role is ideal for a technically strong student who enjoys owning projects end-to-end and translating open-ended business questions into reliable internal tools that a non-technical team can use with confidence.
