As a business analyst at Kearney, you will contribute to consulting project teams of our Mobility, Defense and advanced Industrials Practice (MDI) as they offer honest advice and practical guidance to our clients.

Key responsibilities
Ensure the success of projects by completing tasks such as gathering and analyzing data and conducting competitor assessment studies.
Support project workstreams and teams as you work alongside clients to create recommendations and implement co-created solutions.
Assist the firm’s business development through generating proposals.
Contribute to the development of thought leadership and other internal and external reports and articles.
Participate in firm building opportunities, e.g. recruiting, training, and mentoring.

Hold a technical Master's degree (e.g., Engineering) OR undergraduate degree
Experience working in or alongside clients in the following industries:
Advanced Industrials
Automotive
Aerospace & Defense
Aviation
Transportation
Travel
Infrastructure
Functional expertise in product planning and strategy, engineering, manufacturing or supply chain
Ability to obtain a US security clearance (preferred but not required); active clearance is a plus
Ability to be based or relocate to a Kearney office in Washington D.C. (preferred) Boston, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, or San Francisco
Willingness to travel within North America and work at client sites typically four days per week

Interview Process
Candidates interested in North American offices (Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.) will have virtual first round interviews from September 9, 2026 to September 15, 2026. Final round interviews will be held virtually on September 25, 2026 or October 2, 2026. If you are invited to first round interviews, you will receive a notice from a Kearney recruiter to schedule your interview.
Business Analyst base salary - $100,000 - $105,000: However, it is important to note that at Kearney, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, office location, knowledge and skills. Kearney reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness. In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
