Staff Assistant– Office of Representative Dave Min (CA-47)

Location: Washington, DC

Salary: $50,000 - $55,000

Representative Dave Min (CA-47) seeks an organized and motivated Staff Assistant to join his office in Washington, D.C. The Staff Assistant will manage the front office, including answering phones and greeting visitors, managing constituent tours and flag requests, handling administrative duties, assisting the scheduling team and Chief of Staff, drafting constituent correspondence, staffing the Congressman, and other duties as assigned. 

Competitive candidates will have excellent organizational skills, time management, and communication skills, thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, and pay close attention to detail. The individual in this role frequently interacts with constituents and visitors on the phone and in person and should have a friendly and professional demeanor. 

This is an entry-level position; ideal for recent graduates and those early in their careers. The Staff Assistant is expected to work full-time and will be required to report in-person to the Representative’s office in Washington, DC.

Candidates of diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Ties to Orange County, California, are strongly preferred. A driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle is also preferred.
