Policy Intern , American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA)

The Policy Intern supports the ACMA Government Relations department by assisting with legislative and regulatory research, policy monitoring, and department initiatives that advance the Association’s advocacy objectives. The position contributes to the analysis of government actions and industry developments affecting the composites manufacturing sector and ACMA member companies.  

 

Responsibilities include monitoring federal legislative and regulatory activity, preparing written materials for internal and external communications, and supporting the creation of government affairs resources.  

 

The position also supports general office operations through collaboration with other departments and assistance with administrative and operational tasks. Additional responsibilities may be assigned in support of the ACMA’s programs and organizational objectives on a case by case basis.

 

This position is for 15 hours per week at our office in Arlington, VA, from September 8th through December 18th, 2026, but can be extended. ACMA works a 7.5 hour day, so this is equivalent to two days per week. Schedule is flexible. This position is paid at $18.40/hour.
