Executive Assistant

Executive Assistant to Senior Executive | Business Partner
Bilingual Required (Chinese) | (AI, Data Center & Venture Capital)
 

Location: Flexible / Global
Initial Onboarding: 2–4 weeks in Tyson’s Corner, VA, followed by 2–4 weeks of travel with the executive (part of probation period)
 

Compensation: Base salary $60k - $80k+ (commensurate with experience)
Travel Requirement: Extensive international travel, including extended stays in Asian countries

Role Objective

The Executive Assistant is a trusted operational and communication partner to our senior executive partner. This role focuses on executive readiness, communication quality, logistical excellence, and situational judgment, rather than routine administrative tasks.

The Executive Assistant enables executives to operate at the highest level by managing complex logistics, preparing for high-stakes interactions, maintaining discretion, and demonstrating strong judgment—especially in dynamic, high-pressure environments.

Accuracy and reliability in executive scheduling, travel, and logistics

Quality, clarity, and professionalism of executive-facing and external communication

Attention to detail in operations, preparation, and executive readiness

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-level executive support including calendar management, scheduling, and meeting coordination

Plan and manage complex domestic and international travel, often with short notice

Prepare detailed itineraries, briefing materials, and logistical plans to ensure executive readiness

Serve as a professional communication bridge between executives, internal teams, and external partners in English and Mandarin Chinese

Draft, review, and manage sensitive correspondence and materials with precision and discretion

Maintain strict confidentiality and apply sound ethical judgment at all times

Support executives during high-stress periods by maintaining operational stability and professionalism

Assist with special projects and executive-level initiatives as required

 

Required Qualifications & Skills

Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written)

Proven experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams

Exceptional organizational skills with a strong eye for detail and precision

Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for executive representation

Ability to manage ambiguity, last-minute changes, and high-pressure situations

High level of integrity, discretion, and ethical judgment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling systems

Willingness and ability to travel frequently and support extended or irregular hours when required

 

Preferred Experience

Experience supporting executives in technology, consulting, or international business environments

Experience working with global or cross-cultural teams

Exposure to executive-level decision-making or high-stakes engagements
