CEPA Internship Program
The Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) internship program is designed to provide a variety of professional opportunities and exposure to rising young leaders in the transatlantic space. The internship program is unpaid and is offered in the Fall, Spring, and Summer both virtually and in-person.
Interns will have the opportunity to attend internal team meetings, professional development workshops, and DC-based events.
Applications for the Spring Internship Program are accepted on rolling basis with a priority to applications submitted before Sunday, November 26th.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day program activities;
- Help with planning and implementing program/ team events, workshops, and webinars;
- Executive assistance and scheduling for program/ team staff;
- Provide support with research for program/ team publications, projects, and convenings;
- Assist the program/ team with outreach to partners and maintain regular contact with CEPA’s network;
- Address administrative and research pop-up requests from staff; and
- Produce weekly newsletters on the latest in the transatlantic dialogue, highlighting the political, economic, and security developments.
Interested candidates for the Spring Internship Program should submit their applications by submitting a resume, cover letter, and a brief (2-4 pages) writing sample by email to internship@cepa.org at their earliest convenience, with priority given to applicants who applied before Sunday, November 26th. Please indicate which program/ area you would like to apply to in your cover letter and email subject line. Additionally, in your cover letter, please indicate your weekly availability as well as the semester for which you would like to apply.
Due to the large number of applicants received, only applicants chosen for an interview will be contacted.
Interns support and work alongside CEPA’s three programmatic areas of Transatlantic Defense and Security, Democratic Resilience, and the Digital Innovation Initiative. Interns may also work closely with CEPA’s Executive Office, Affairs, or Business Development team.
