
Human Resources Assistant
As an HR Assistant, you will provide administrative and technical support. Duties include:
- Serves as an assistant to the Human Resources staff providing clerical and technical support in the areas of recruitment and placement, classification, employee relations, employee benefits, personnel actions processing and other services for the district.
- Prepares and processes a full range of personnel actions to include those of an unusual, unprecedented, or are difficult in nature and special appointing authorities.
- Applies information and guidance from federal regulations, manuals, information systems, and other resources.
- Coordinates new employee orientation and benefits counseling.
- Maintains the Electronic Official Personnel Folders (e-OPF).
- Analyzes and resolves basic benefit and payroll issues.
