Part Time Event Photographer
The B&O Railroad Museum is the birthplace of American Railroading, we tell the story of the industrial, economic, and cultural impact the railroads had on the city, the nation, and the world. Additionally, our museum strives to be a central resource for the community to find support and thrive in a 21st century landscape: through workforce development programs, educational outreach and programs, historical preservation, and events.
We are eager to find like-minded individuals who share the same passion for history or civic involvement and want to develop their skills in a multifaceted organization that supports the community in addition to providing high quality content to help tell the story of American through the lens of railroading.
We are looking for an Event Photographer or aspiring photographer looking to hone their craft by working with us in our events at the B&O Railroad Museum! Hours may vary, including some weekends and evenings. Come in as needed to support events.
Responsibilities would include the following:
- Capture moments from museum events through pictures / video
- Collaborate on advertising and promotional materials with our marketing team
- Contribute ideas and vision for all outgoing visuals.
The ideal candidate is someone looking for opportunities to hone their craft and build skills in event photography.
