Survey and Research Analyst
We are seeking a full-time Analyst to assist us in our growing survey and research practice; the Analyst will also be cross-trained on all aspects of Quatt’s consulting work, which informs the surveys we conduct. The position will support the full-cycle publication of numerous compensation and benefits surveys, help manage clients’ executive performance assessment processes, and develop tools and processes to more effectively manage and analyze the firm’s survey data.
· Surveys: The Analyst will be involved in all aspects of Quatt’s surveys, from survey design and launch to data validation and analysis to report production. The surveys address employee compensation, benefits, human resources practices, and leadership performance in the non-profit arena, and are central to the firm’s mission of providing leading research and survey information as well as market analysis to the national not-for-profit community.
· Executive Performance Assessments: The Analyst will help manage the administration of performance assessments and prepare report summaries. Quatt regularly conducts executive performance assessments to help clients provide meaningful feedback to senior staff. As a part of these processes, the Analyst will gain unique insight into the strategic operation of nonprofits, since he/she will be in touch with Board members assessing CEOs or senior leadership assessing executives and will help to develop reports summarizing highly confidential responses.
· Research and Process Improvement: The Analyst will also support various research projects—for example, Quatt regularly presents on survey results to participants—and will be asked to think creatively and strategically to help improve Quatt’s internal resources and tools for managing and analyzing the data gathered through surveys.
· Consulting: Finally, for professional development, the Analyst will be exposed to and learn about all aspects of Quatt’s consulting work, because the consulting is closely interrelated with the survey work. The consulting includes executive compensation analyses and the development of executive compensation plans, benchmarking staff salaries, and the development and management of organization-wide compensation systems.
As the Analyst grows in the role, he/she will manage increasingly larger aspects of projects. Direct client and survey participant interaction is also an important part of the job, beginning within the first months of work. QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of experience; this is an entry-level role. Demonstrated analytical skills through coursework and/or work experience, coupled with strong writing and communications skills, since the Analyst will be expected to write engage regularly with clients and survey participants. Relevant coursework may include economics, mathematics, business, sociology/social sciences, and/or statistics; should demonstrate an attention to detail and precision. Data analysis using Microsoft Excel is a significant and essential portion of the job; should also have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment, including MS Word and PowerPoint. This position is a good opportunity for candidates potentially interested in building survey/analysis skills for graduate school down the road.

Previous internship or work experience conducting surveys or research a plus. U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required.
