Jay Jones Campaign Internship
Overview:
An 8-week internship designed for college students eager to gain hands-on experience in political campaigns, develop essential skills, and expand their professional network. This internship offers a unique opportunity to help qualify Jay Jones for the ballot while learning about the inner workings of a campaign for Attorney General.
Jay Jones Bio:
Jay Jones is a husband, father of two boys, and a lifelong Norfolk resident running for Attorney General because Virginians deserve an advocate who will fight for their families. Jay’s public service journey spans generations and is deeply rooted in his commitment to the community.
As a member of the House of Delegates, Jay fought to expand Medicaid, increase the minimum wage, and provide teachers with annual pay raises. He previously served as an Assistant Attorney General in Washington, D.C., where he worked on consumer protection cases, holding corporations accountable for their actions.
Jay Jones is running to protect Virginia families — from crime and violence, corporate greed, and extreme political agendas. Jay knows that freedom depends on people willing to fight for it.
