Events And Communications Intern (Summer 2025)
This internship is within IWP’s Office of Events and Communications. It provides an introduction to the world of event planning and communications.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation and coordination for Institute events, including guest lectures, book events, and special receptions.
- Assist Communications Office with website maintenance, social media, and the bi-monthly print newsletter.
- Maintain events and communications records.
- Assist with various other projects with the events, communications, alumni, and development offices.

Qualifications
- Applicants should be students or recent graduates in good academic standing from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
- Interested in exploring a career with a nonprofit organization, or for those looking to network with professionals in national security, international affairs, or intelligence.
- Ability to work in-person preferred.
- Organized and attentive to detail.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Knowledge of social media platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
