Summer Internship Opportunities

We are excited to share ADL's summer internship opportunities for 2025. Please note that application portals will close at 6 PM ET on March 7, 2025. ADL will confirm the selected candidates by mid-April. 

 

 

ADL's Communications Team is looking for a dynamic intern to join us from June 9 to August 8, 2025. The ideal candidate will have experience in communications, journalism, public policy, social justice and human rights and demonstrates a keen interest in ADL's misison to fight antisemitism and combat hate in all forms. Our Communications internship provides the opportunity for students to gain practical experience with shaping ADL's response to issues and breaking news, producing readouts and reports of ADL's earned media footprint; learning from ADL professionals about the day-to-day operations of a Communications shop for a major civil rights orgnaitaion; and meeting with ADL professionals across departments including National Affairs, International Affairs, and the Centers on Extremism, Tech & Society and Antisemitism Research.

ADL’s Connecticut team is looking for a dynamic intern to join us from June 9 to August 8, 2025. The ideal candidate will have experience with working with a team and be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program. ADL’s Los Angeles Regional Operations team is looking for a dynamic intern to join us from June 9 to August 8, 2025. The ideal candidate will have experience with community outreach, internet research, and database management. Our Regional Operations internship provides the opportunity for students to gain practical experience with working directly with Regional Staff to gain first-hand knowledge about work in the areas of community outreach and program development. The focus will be heavily on incident response, both in helping maintain Salesforce and providing data upon request. Other projects involve researching, reporting and correspondence writing, assisting with meeting and event planning.

ADL’s New England Regional Operations team is looking for a dynamic intern to join us from June 9 to August 8, 2025. The ideal candidate will have experience and interest in civil rights, advocacy, social justice, education, or related fields. Our Advocacy and Communications internship provides the opportunity for students to gain practical experience working in preventing and responding to antisemitism, hate, and all forms of bias throughout Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. The focus will be heavily working with the ADL New England staff, including participation in staff meetings, learning opportunities, and access to the knowledge and expertise within ADL nationally.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching, research and analytical skills, and a strong project management understanding. Our Echoes & Reflection internship provides the opportunity for students to gain practical experience creating content for current Echoes & Reflections projects and implementing a special project during the internship term. The focus will be heavily on providing support for Echoes & Reflections core functions and participating in experiences to learn more about ADL as well as Echoes & Reflections.

ADL’s Federal Affairs team bridges ADL’s 25 regional offices with Congress, the Administration, and other federal entities. The team works with partner organizations to advance ADL’s mission and advocate on issues including antisemitism, hate crimes, domestic terrorism, online hate, and harassment. The Federal Affairs team offers interns hands-on experience with a leading anti-hate organization in Washington, D.C., engaging on federal policy issues.
