Cherry Law Firm is a Monmouth County-based criminal defense practice dedicated to providing aggressive, client-centered representation. Led by attorney Anthony Cherry, our firm focuses on protecting the rights of individuals facing serious legal challenges.
We’re offering a hands-on legal internship for motivated undergraduate students interested in law school or a legal career. This is a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced, solo law firm setting.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and legal procedures
- Assist with drafting legal documents, including motions, client letters, and case summaries
- Help prepare case files and trial materials
- Observe court proceedings, client meetings, and attorney strategy sessions
- Contribute to firm marketing and legal blog content (optional)
- Perform administrative tasks to support daily firm operations
What We’re Looking For:
- Currently enrolled undergraduate student (preferably in pre-law, political science, criminal justice, or related fields)
- Strong research and writing skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Passion for criminal defense and the legal field
