Data Scientist

Are you trying to get involved with impactful data science and advanced analytics, and not just ETL and visualization? Quantum Insights may be right for you! Quantum Insights is looking for experienced data scientists to assist in the start of a new data analytics and machine learning effort within a government healthcare agency. These data scientists will work with a variety of grants and medical data sets (structured and unstructured) in the Palantir Foundry environment. The goal of this effort is to develop and enhance existing NLP models to perform entity conflict of interest resolution and provide recommendations to the stakeholders. Anyone brought into this role with no experience of Palantir Foundry will receive formal training through the Palantir certification process.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of analytics experience
• 3+ years of experience with languages such as Python (required), Pyspark (highly preferred) and R (optional)
• 3+ years of data cleansing experience and data pipeline management
• Experience and familiarity with visualization of data analytics findings
  
   

Additional considerations, although, not required:

• 3+ years of experience in creating advanced analytic products, such as complex numerical and statistical analyses or AI algorithms
• 1+ years of experience creating custom statistical algorithms, such as Random Forest, Clustering, etc.
• 1+ years of experience working with graph databases

Education: A degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to this position. Ph.D.’s preferred.
