Legal Assistant
Binnall Law Group is looking for a Legal Assistant to help us provide exceptional legal services to our clients. As a Legal Assistant working for our firm, you will assist our attorneys in their cases helping with a variety of legal tasks and administrative aid.
Position Overview:
As a Legal Assistant at our firm, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our firm. While primarily providing administrative support, you will also assist our legal team with various tasks as needed. This role requires organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and other staff members, including managing calendars and scheduling services
- Prepare and edit legal documents, correspondence, and other materials when asked by one of our attorneys
- Assist with file management, including organizing and maintaining electronic and physical files.
- Assist with billing and invoicing processes, including tracking billable hours and expenses.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, answering phone calls at the front desk and emails in a professional and courteous manner.
- Support firm-wide initiatives and projects as needed, including marketing efforts and event planning.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and provide assistance as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software programs (e.g., Clio, Box).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and tasks.
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist colleagues at all levels of the organization.
